Bulls and Chicago Housing Authority host holiday party for more than 400 students

December 9, 2013 -- On Sunday, the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) hosted a holiday party for more than 400 students at the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI). The students reside in CHA family housing developments and were selected based on their academic achievements and attendance records.

Bulls volunteers served the students lunch and MSI volunteers and staff took them on tours of the museum. Lunch was provided by Ron Lofton of Lofton and Lofton, Culligan and Edy’s Ice Cream. Each student received a gift personally donated by Luol Deng.

This is the 14th year that the Bulls and CHA have hosted the holiday party. It is one of several events that the Bulls are organizing this holiday season as part of NBA Cares Season of Giving.
