Bulls and Jewel-Osco partner on Embrace-a-Bulls program
The Bulls and Jewel Osco are working together to support the Embrace-a-Bulls program during the 2013-14 season. Now entering its third year, the Embrace-a-Bulls program is dedicated to providing families who have a member with challenging medical conditions an opportunity to experience a Chicago Bulls home game like VIPs. The program gives everyone in the family – the patient, children, parents, relatives or close friends – the chance to get some relief from their current circumstances, even for a moment, to enjoy special time together.
Each Embrace-a-Bulls family receives four premium tickets, Bulls gift bags, an in-seat visit from Benny the Bull and other fun surprises. Each in-game experience is customized to meet the needs of the families and ensure they enjoy the game like a true VIP.
The Bulls work with several charitable partners to identify families to be a part of the Embrace-a-Bulls program. So far this season, the team has worked with groups from across Chicagoland to identify Embrace-a-Bulls families, including Advocate Children’s Hospital, Bear Necessities, Cancer Wellness Center, Gilda’s Club, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish, Ronald McDonald House Charities and RUSH University Health Care, and others.
