It's good they don't pay me to make predictions (why do they pay me?). Although I managed to be right more than I was wrong last week, a six and four record is nothing to be proud of considering I don't even have spreads to work against. No home court advantage. Just pick the winner.

I did predict that Sam Jackson would lose again. Oh, Sam. This pick was only made out of frustration because I can't believe he can't win. This time, Corey Maggette went down with a late-week injury, costing Sam a critical game. The final line? Kenny Smith took him by eight fantasy points. In a game in which the typical player scores 20-30 a game, the Maggette injury is all Kenny needed.

One of the big misses was on Bill Simmons, predicting that Bill would win again. Bill loses! Bernie Mac was simply too much this week, but do not sleep on the Simmons train. I know, it's hard not to sleep on the train. Just don't do it. Bill will bounce back.

The biggest surprise? Tony Potts and his hair gel are found at the top of the standings with an unblemished 3-0 record and the league's most fantasy points. I didn't see it coming. This is no fluke. What could be considered flukish is that the only other undefeated team, Zach Gilford, has the sixth most fantasy points. This is the beauty of head-to-head action. Gilford and Jackson are separated by 50 fantasy points (2%), yet one team is undefeated and one team is winless.

Who else is winless? Spike Lee and the second least fantasy points. In his second season in the league, Spike is a Celeb League veteran. Show it, Spike. Win some games.

Let's take a close look at this week's match-ups, starting with the undefeated teams:

Tony Potts vs. Samuel L. Jackson
I'd like to say that Sam Jackson finally gets a win this week, but it's a tough task against a Tony Potts team on a roll. It doesn't help that Corey Maggette is hurt, although Potts also must deal with the temporary loss to Chris Paul. Considering Potts has 33 games to Jackson's 32, though, the trends for each team are destined to continue. Prediction: Tony Potts keeps on winning. Sam ain't happy.

Zach Gilford vs. Spike Lee
Easy choice, right? Another case of the undefeated against the winless. Go with Zach Gilford. Not so fast. As mentioned earlier, Gilford isn't nearly as dominant as his record would suggest (although Spike does have the second least fantasy points). The gods are out to get Spike and Jackson again this week. Not only are both teams against the two hottest squads, but they each are at a games disadvantage. Gilford has three games from Shawn Marion whereas Spike has to rid three games from Nash, Allen, Jefferson, Randolph and Davis. Man, I just listed four very good fantasy players. Why is Spike playing so poorly? And as I look at Gilford's team (Andre Miller, Richard Hamilton, Luol Deng, Cuttino Mobley, Sam Cassell), why is he playing so well? Let's roll the dice here... Prediction: Spike kicks the fantasy gods in the gut.

Bernie Mac vs. Kenny Smith
Big, big win for Bernie over Bill Simmons last week. Time to get overconfident? Simmons Bowl hangover? It could happen considering the one game advantage for Smith. Kenny Smith's best four players are LeBron James, Danny Granger, Lamar Odom and Ben Gordon, and play a combined 15 games. Bernie's top four are Kobe Bryant, Carlos Boozer, Kevin Martin, and Marcus Camby, playing a combined 14 games. Roll those dice. ROLL 'EM! Prediction: Bernie found naked in the streets, still celebrating his win over Bill Simmons. Kenny wins.

Donald Faison vs. Adam McKay
Faison comes in with the third most fantasy points and a 2-1 record. He also takes a healthy 32 games against McKay's questionable 32, anchored by four from the hobbled Gilbert Arenas. McKay's only shot is if Arenas is healthy and enjoys a big week. It could happen. Prediction: It won't. Faison wins.

Bill Simmons vs. James Denton
Don't cry for the 2-1 Bill Simmons. He still has possibly the most star-studded starting lineup. He still has four game weeks on the horizon from Jason Richardson and Dwight Howard. And he faces off against James Denton, the team (though 1-2) with the least fantasy points. Forgone conclusion? Maybe not. Denton has four games from Jason Terry, Stephen Jackson and Chris Bosh. Considering Bosh's slow start and four more of Denton's games are taken up by the invisible Andrea Bargnani, I just don't think Denton has the firepower to compete. Prediction: Bill Simmons starts a new streak.

Will Ferrell vs. George Lopez
This is clearly Will Ferrell's game until you notice that he's lacking Tracy McGrady, one of his top fantasy producers. Dirk Nowitzki, Yao Ming, Ron Artest and Manu Ginobili highlight Will's team this week, combining for 14 games. George rides 15 games from Baron Davis, Andre Iguodala, Caron Butler and Pau Gasol. Nice one-game advantage. Problem is that Iguodala and Gasol, in particular, have not been playing well. Prediction: Will Ferrell improves to 3-1.
