Z-Bo gives holiday gift to local families
Memphis Grizzlies’ forward Zach Randolph gave back to the community by donating and distributing holiday food baskets and tickets to the November 12 game against the Raptors to 450 families at Booker T. Washington High School for the Thanksgiving holiday as part of the Grizzlies’ Season of Giving on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
The food baskets included a feast of turkey, corn, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, green beans, cornbread and brownie mix. Randolph also provided information on how to have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
The Memphis Grizzlies will be spreading holiday cheer across the City of Memphis as they prepare to give thanks throughout the month of November. Grizzlies players, coaches, family members and staff team with community partners to make a difference in the lives of children and families by hosting several charitable events.
