Kayte has been the basketball analyst on Comcast SportsNet’s House Party Live warm-up and wrap-up show and KHTK’s Kings Talk weekly radio program during the 2007-08 Kings season.

A professional basketball player, currently with the Chicago Sky of the WNBA, the 27-year-old Christensen has already worked in a variety of broadcasting capacities including analyst work for the Phoenix Suns pregame show, co-hosting a daily radio show (which featured frequent guest Charles Barkley), hosting “Nuthin’ But Net,” a weekly webcast for the Phoenix Suns and as a feature correspondent for MLB.com.

Originally from Minnesota, Andrew Nicholson left the frozen tundra for college in the southwest, where he graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005. After four years of internships, radio shows and a lot of intramural basketball, he took his passion for hoops and writing/multimedia to the Phoenix Suns, where he interned and became an assistant for Suns TV and Suns.com/PhoenixMercury.com, respectively. He joined Maloof Sports & Entertainment in 2006 as the writer for Kings.com and SacramentoMonarchs.com and has since grown his role into many facets of content and multimedia.

Angela began as the Kings lead courtside/multimedia reporter during the 2007-08 Kings season. Her resume is filled with a wide-range of unique electronic media skills, including hosting, anchoring, improvisation, acting, writing and graphic design. She spent the last two seasons anchoring the nightly sports desk at NBATV and doing feature correspondence work on NBA Timeout for AZN Television, which included behind the scenes features and interviews with some of the NBA’s biggest stars (Clyde Drexler, Julius Erving, Bill Walton, Tony Parker, Tracy MacGrady, Paul Pierce and many more).

DANIEL SHAPIRO
Sacramento Kings Strength and Conditioning Coach

Kings strength and conditioning coach Daniel Shapiro is responsible for designing and implementing the team’s in-season and off-season strength and conditioning programs while working closely with the training staff and doctors to monitor player nutritional needs and injury rehabilitation. This season, Shapiro will answer five questions per week pertaining to players’ training regimens, eating habits and any other questions Kings fans may have regarding strength, conditioning and nutrition.
