Mavericks Dancer Prep Classes are held at the Dallas Power House of Dance from June 2 through July 12, 2008. These classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm or 8:30-9:30pm. These prep classes are designed to prepare dancers, 18 years old and up, for the Mavericks Dancers Audition that will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008. About the Mavs Dancers

The Dallas Mavericks Dancers are in their 19th year of entertaining basketball fans. Considered among the best in the NBA, the 2007-08 squad includes professional dancers who will appear at all Mavericks home games. The Dancers are also very active in the community, making numerous public appearances throughout the Metroplex.

Shella Sattler, a widely-respected and experienced dance instructor and choreographer, is the director of the squad. Sattler, a former Mavericks and L.A. Clippers dancer, also owns and operates the Dallas Power House of Dance. In addition to dancing with MC Hammer, Run DMC and Snap, she also won more than $100,000 in a dance team competition on TV’s Star Search.
