During the summer of 2001, named the AAU national tournament Most Valuable Player after hitting the game-winning shot at the final buzzer to give his team the 17-and-under national title... Also earned three letters in track & field in high school... Majored in education at Arizona... Hobbies include reading and video games ... Hosted Andre’s Book Drive in 2006 and 2007, leading to the donation of more than 2,600 new children’s books to Philadelphia READS... In 2004-05, hosted a Caps for Kids Drive, which brought in over 1,400 new hats that were donated to local children’s hospitals...
