2010-11 SEASON: His first season in the NBA was highlighted by a 25-point performance in the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge on Feb. 18 at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles… Appeared in a team-high 79 games, including 63 starts; he ranked 6th among rookies in scoring (9.0 ppg), 3rd in three-point accuracy (35.6%), 6th in steals (0.73 spg), 3rd in blocks (0.68 bpg) and 6th in minutes played (26.2 mpg)… Shot 39.7% from the floor and 69.6% from the FT line while grabbing 3.0 rpg… Broke Stephon Marbury's franchise rookie record (102 in 1996-97) by drilling 103 treys on the season… Poured in a game- and season-high 29 points Mar. 18 at the Lakers, equaling the most by a Wolves rookie since Marbury tallied 33 vs. Utah on Dec. 23, 1996… It was one of four times he led Minnesota in scoring and one of five 20+ efforts… Tied his season high with eight rebounds Mar. 1 vs. the L.A. Was a member of the Big 12 Conference All-Rookie Team... 2009-10: Averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds on the season leading the Orange in both categories... One of four finalists for the Naismith Trophy awarded to the men's college basketball player of the year... Started all 35 games... Named the 2K Sports Classic MVP after averaging 21.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in SU’s wins over California and North Carolina... Named a midseason All-American by ESPN.com's Jay Bilas on Jan. 12 and the Sporting News' Mike DeCourcy on Jan. 14... Johnson took home the Big East Player of the Year Award and was voted by the conference's head coaches to the All-Big East Conference First Team...
