Shabazz Muhammad To Attend Increase The Peace And Stop The Violence Blacktop Classic

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Shabazz Muhammad joins Athletes and Coaches Against Bullying to support the Fourth Annual Blacktop Classic, in San Diego, CA on Sun., Sept. 1. The one-day basketball tournament features boys and girls from Southern California’s high school and middle school basketball programs.

Muhammad will be on hand to coach one of the teams in the tournament and speak with the participants about his journey to the NBA.

The event will bring neighbors together to raise awareness of bullying and violence in their schools and communities. Guest speakers will engage the students in discussions about keeping their communities safe and everyone in attendance will be asked to sign the anti-bullying pledge to stand up against bullying in their communities, neighborhoods and schools.
