Experts from the Traumatic Brain Injury Center at HCMC will be in the concourse to help fans "Get Your Head in Gear" with information about protecting your brain while participating in winter sports. Fans can stop by the booth to meet brain injury experts to learn about sports-related head injuries and how to take precaution against such injuries. Kids can also meet Bernie the Rescue Dog.
Additionally, following the game, HCMC will be handing out free lip balm and a comprehensive guide to burn prevention from Minnesota's go-to resource for staying safe while doing what you love.
Skiing and snowboarding-related brain injuries are a growing concern as medical personnel begin to understand their long-term effects.
